UTA Celebrates Major Funding
Announcement and Construction Milestone
On the Mid-Jordan TRAX Line
What: Utah Transit Authority welcomes Acting FTA Administrator Sherry E. Little to Salt Lake to make a significant funding announcement, and is joined by elected officials and community stakeholders to celebrate 25% completion of construction on the Mid-Jordan TRAX line.
When: Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at 10 a.m.
Where: Approximately 7800 South just west of 700 West in Midvale.
Directions: Take I-15 to 7200 South exit. Turn west and go to 700 west (700 West turns into 805 West, also known as Holden Street). Turn right onto 7720 South (Center Street) then right at your first right-hand turn. UTA event signs will be placed to help guide you.

This event will take place outside, so please dress warmly.
The Mid-Jordan TRAX line is part of UTA’s $2.8 billion dollar FrontLines 2015 program. UTA has committed to build 70 miles of rail in seven years. Other lines in the program include FrontRunner commuter rail from Salt Lake City to Provo, and light rail lines in West Valley, Draper and to the Salt Lake International Airport.

With the construction taking place on this project,(Jordan Light Rail)
there must be need for truck drivers (Owner Operators) w/ belly dumps. I would love to get involved. could someone contact me at 801-885-8181
