Route 8:
Would follow Route 7 from the Intermodal Terminal to Fort Union Blvd (7000 South) and 2000 East, then would travel Fort Union Blvd (7000/7200 South) to the Midvale/Fort Union TRAX station.
Service would run Monday-Saturday with 30-minute frequency. Route will provide alternating 15-minute service in conjunction with Route 7 and service along Fort Union Blvd.
Buses: 35-foot buses until service requires bigger buses.
Advantages: Will provide more frequent service along busiest section of Highland Drive and will provide additional service to the busy section of Fort Union Blvd. Will also provide easier connections from Highland Drive to TRAX.
